Smart Habit Tracker ("the app") is built to keep your data yours. This page explains exactly what the app collects, why, and how to remove it.
Your habits, goals, and completion history are stored locally on your device. If you never sign in, nothing leaves your phone.
If you sign in with Google and use cloud backup (a Pro feature), the app stores in Google Firebase (Firestore):
Data is encrypted in transit. Access is restricted to your own account by security rules; no other user can read your data.
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play. The app never sees your payment details. Purchase tokens are verified server-side with the Google Play Developer API solely to confirm your subscription.
Habit reminders are generated on your device. Notification permission is optional; the app works fully without it.
You can delete your account and all cloud data at any time inside the app: Settings → Manage account → Delete account & data. See Account & data deletion for details and an alternative if you can no longer access the app.
